Porsche has announced that they are to design and build a new SUV and it will be called the ‘Macan’. It will basically be a baby version of the Cayenne, a car that already divides opinion. For me, the Cayenne doesn’t really work. Porsche’s are all about being light on their toes and, above all, fast. The Cayenne is more a luxury cruiser, and one that I personally don’t think looks great either. From the rear it is a very good looking 44, however the front end is certainly not to my taste and it spoils the overall appeal of the car.

Drivers in Oklahoma are now beginning to see the effects of a new law implemented starting November 1st, which limits the amount uninsured drivers can recover in most accidents. The state already mandates that drivers have auto insurance coverage, and those in compliance will not be directly affected unless in an accident involving an uninsured driver.
Reasons for the Change
Supporters of the new law hope the change will encourage some previously uninsured drivers to re-think their position and secure policies. In significant numbers, uninsured drivers may increase the premium costs paid by complying drivers, since they have no insurance to help defray the cost of accidents in which they are involved. Greater policy enrollment, therefore, may reduce premiums statewide if uninsured drivers do decide to secure coverage.

The Department of Transport, UK recently launched an awareness campaign to let people know the ill effects of driving an uninsured car. First only driving such was illegal but now the law has expanded its wings to include owning one as well. Uninsured drivers are not only dangerous for other people but also make others who have insured their car, pay high premium charges.
The new law states that if the mandatory rule of insuring the car is not followed, then one is liable to pay a fine of up to £100.
